NYRA LAUNCHES DEDICATED BELMONT STAKES TWITTER FEED

 

ELMONT, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will provide fans with regular updates on the third jewel of racing’s Triple Crown on the official Twitter page of the Belmont Stakes, located at Twitter.com/BelmontStakes.

 

The site is updated throughout the day whenever a news item, blog post, video or podcast is uploaded to the official website of the race, BelmontStakes.com.  NYRA will also regularly update the page leading up to the 142^nd running of the Grade 1, $1 million “Test of the Champion” on June 5.

 

In addition, BelmontStakes.com blogger Teresa Genaro will blog live on the Belmont Stakes Twitter feed from Pimlico Race Course on Preakness Day, Saturday, May 15, as WinStar Farms’ Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver attempts to capture the second jewel of the Triple Crown. 

 

The site combines forces with the Andy Serling Twitter page (Twitter.com/andyserling) and NYRAnews’ page (Twitter.com/nyranews) to further expand NYRA’s presence on the popular social networking website. Serling’s page features a combination of race analysis and wagering suggestions, along with observations that he makes throughout the day while at Aqueduct, Belmont Park and Saratoga, while NYRAnews updates with news, notes, and assorted other content from all three NYRA tracks.
