RIFKIN, LIVINGSTON, LEVITAN & SILVER, LLC

ANNOUNCES EXPANSION OF THE FIRM TO BETHESDA, MARYLAND

Bethesda Office Is Firm’s Fourth Location In Maryland

Annapolis, Maryland (April 23, 2010) – Rifkin, Livingston, Levitan & Silver, LLC, today announced the expansion of the Firm to its fourth location in Maryland.  The new office will be located at 7979 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, Maryland.  Presently, the Firm has offices in Annapolis, Greenbelt and Towson.  The Firm also announced that the Greenbelt office will be relocated to 14601 Main Street, Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

According to Alan M. Rifkin, the Firm’s managing partner, “We have been considering expanding to Montgomery County for many years.  More and more we are seeing the Firm’s litigation and transactional matters involve clients located in the Washington suburbs.  The Bethesda office will help us serve those clients in a more proximate manner.  With the opening of the Bethesda office, the firm will now have a strong presence connecting the Baltimore and Washington metropolitan areas.”

The relocation of the Prince George’s County office will help the Firm to better serve its clients.  According to Chip Reed, Director of the Firm’s Washington metropolitan area practice group, “Locating closer to the County seat and the County’s administrative offices, will help us serve our real estate and transactional clients better.  I can see a great synergy developing between the Bethesda and Upper Marlboro offices.”

Norman Rivera, a partner in the Firm and prominent zoning attorney, concurs.  “This is a great opportunity for the Firm and our clients.  We’ve always had a strong presence in Prince George’s County and that will only continue to grow with the new offices.”

Long-time Montgomery County lawyer and former State Senator Larry Levitan, a partner at the Firm, said, “I’ve looked forward to this for a long time.  Having represented the people of Montgomery County for many years in the legislature, I’m anxious to open the doors to the Bethesda office and represent the good people and businesses of Montgomery County with their legal needs.  I feel like I’m coming home again.”
