GULFSTREAM PARK RACING AND CASINO TO HOST ONLY WORLD SERIES OF POKER® SATELLITE TOURNAMENT IN FLORIDA

 

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. (April 1, 2010) - Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino will once again host the only World Series of Poker® satellite tournament in the state of Florida on June 6 as part of its World Series of Poker® Challenge, where players will compete for one of three seats and an all expense paid trip to the World Series of Poker® Main Event which begins July 5 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and offered over $15 million in prize money in 2009.

 

Beginning Thursday, April 1, and concluding Friday, June 4, guests playing in the nightly multi-table tournaments or the all-day Sit-n-Go tournaments at Gulfstream Park can earn tournament leader board points for the World Series of Poker® Challenge.

 

The top 50 tournament leader board point earners will receive free entry in the Gulfstream Park Main Event, which will be held Sunday, June 6. The top three finishers in the Gulfstream Park Main Event will be awarded with a free seat in the World Series of Poker® Main Event, valued at $10,000. The Grand Prize winner will also receive an all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas, including airfare and accommodations.

 

Additional cash prizes totaling $11,000 will also be distributed to the top 10 Gulfstream Park Main Event finishers, along with the top five overall tournament leader board point holders.
