ARLINGTONPARKLIVE.COM GETS A REFURBISHED, REFRESHED LOOK AND ADDED FEATURES FOR 2010 SEASON

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (April 23, 2010) – Arlington Park’s event and entertainment driven website www.arlingtonparklive.com has gotten a fresh look as the suburban Chicago racetrack gets ready to launch its 2010 season on Thursday, April 29.

Launched last year as the social hub for all activities at Arlington Park, the refurbished arlingtonparklive.com allows fans to get more up close and personal with Arlington Park in an easier to navigate, completely interactive format featuring substantially more content.

The redesigned home page gives fans easier access to Arlington Park’s substantial event schedule and numerous quick links that make planning a day at Arlington Park easier than ever before – including a direct link to purchase tickets.  The home page also includes quick links to Arlington Park’s presence in popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, You Tube and Flickr.

Within the site, fans will find out about the latest featured events, fashion and music as well as Racing 101 – a quick tutorial on wagering and handicapping designed to help the novice player make their day at the races as successful as possible.  Fans will be able to download the track brochure and maps of the facility beforehand so they can feel familiar with all that Arlington Park has to offer.

The popular blogs from last year – AP Insider, Racing 411 and The Jock – will be returning once the season gets going.  Also coming soon to arlingtonparklive.com will be a multimedia section featuring photos, videos and more as well as a fully interactive online invitation platform so fans can throw their own party or get together at the track.

Arlington Park – the Chicago area’s premier Thoroughbred racetrack located in Arlington Heights, Ill. – will run a 91-day meet in 2010 from Thursday, April 29 through Sunday, Sept. 26. Arlington Park, whose parent company is Churchill Downs Incorporated (Nasdaq: CHDN), also operates 10 off-track, simulcast-wagering facilities – Trackside Arlington Park (Arlington Heights), Trackside Chicago, Trackside Quad City Downs (East Moline), Trackside Waukegan, Shooters Bar & Grill at Don Carter Lanes featuring Trackside Rockford, Fat Sam’s Bar & Grill featuring Trackside OTB in Lockport, Lucky’s featuring Trackside OTB in South Elgin, Nicolino’s featuring Trackside OTB in McHenry, Tad’s Sports Bar & Grill featuring Trackside OTB in South Beloit and Salerno-Pincente Ristorante featuring Trackside OTB in Hodgkins.  Information on Arlington Park can be found online at www.arlingtonpark.com.
