DOMINGUEZ FEATURED IN NEW “RIDERS UP” SERIES

 

OZONE PARK, N.Y. – New York’s leading rider Ramon Dominguez is featured in the first installment of NYRA’s newest video series “Riders Up,” now available on demand at http://www.nyra.com/ridersup/index.shtml.  

 

The series provides fans with a comprehensive look at the riders on the NYRA circuit, from the perspective of trainers, owners, and, of course, the jockeys themselves as they discuss their motivations and thoughts on riding in New York.

 

The first installment in the series features Ramon Dominguez, who has dominated the NYRA circuit since moving his tack to New York full time in 2009.  Dominguez discusses the decision to move to New York year-round, his own riding style, and why New York racing fans are unique.  Trainer Gary Contessa and Mike Repole, owner of Repole Stable, also share their thoughts on what makes Ramon a top rider.
