ARLINGTON PARK MILLER LITE SATURDAY

TASTE OF SUMMER BACK FOR 2010 SEASON

 

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (April 21, 2009) – The Miller Lite Saturday Taste of Summer returns for the 2010 season.  The promotion was added to the calendar last year and proved popular with fans of all ages. This year’s Miller Lite Taste of Summer runs from May 29, the Saturday before Memorial Day, through Sept. 4, the Saturday before Labor Day.  The Miller Lite Saturday Taste of Summer features live music by popular local bands on most Saturdays plus delicious food and beverage specials.  First race and first song each week is at 1 p.m. unless noted below.

 

            In addition to live music, the Saturday Taste of Summer will feature Baggo and other interactive games plus guests will be able to have the pictures taken by an on-track photographer who will make the photos available for them to download at no charge.

 

Throughout the season, 97.9 FM “The Loop” will be hosting a Baggo tournament on selected Saturdays – May 29, June 19, July 10, Aug. 14 and Sept. 4; and Q-101 (WKQX) will host a pair of “Sherman and Tingled Out” events on June 26 and Sept. 11.

 

            Music from a wide range of genres including classic rock, Motown, New Orleans soul and Latin-flavored rock will be presented during the course of the summer.  The complete schedule of bands follows:
