ARLINGTON PARK’S MILLER LITE PARTY IN THE PARK

RETURNS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

Band Schedule Announced For Popular Friday Promotion

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (April 21, 2010) – Once again this summer, Arlington Park will be “the place to be” to kick off your weekends with the Miller Lite Party in the Park on Friday afternoons.  The popular promotion returns May 28, the Friday before Memorial Day, and runs through Sept. 3, the Friday before Labor Day.  Post time Friday throughout the season will be at 3 p.m. (2 p.m. in September.)

The Miller Lite Party in the Park features a combination of live music from top local bands, the excitement of live Thoroughbred racing plus food and beverage specials.  In addition to the music element, Arlington will continue to offer Baggo and other interactive games, plus guests will be able to have their pictures taken by an on-site fan photographer who will make the photos available to them online for free downloading.

Throughout the season, local radio personalities will make appearances at Miller Lite Party in the Park.  WXRT morning personality Lin Brehmer will do a special afternoon broadcast from Arlington on May 28 to kick off this year’s Miller Lite Party in the Park; and ESPN-1000 will host “The Afternoon Saloon” from Arlington on Aug. 20.
